CANDLE CARE TIPS

Trim The Wick
Use a wick trimmer to cut the wick 1/4" before each burn. This will help to ensure that your candle burns evenly and the flame stays at an optimal, safe height.

Let It Burn
Most important on the first burn, allow the wax to melt until it reaches the edge of the jar. This will help to prevent candle tunneling, which is when the wick burns straight down the center of the candle without the wax ever reaching the edge of the jar.

Watch The Clock
Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. When it comes to the point where there is only 1/4" - 1/2" of wax left in the jar, it's time to stop lighting your candle. Burning a candle when there is little to no wax left is unsafe, as the jar could easily overheat.

More Reeds, More Scent
The number of reeds you use directly affects the strength of your fragrance. For a subtle scent, start with three to four reeds; for a more robust aroma, add six to eight. Keep in mind that more reeds will use the oil more quickly, so adjust based on your space and preference.

Flip for Freshness
To keep your diffuser at its best, flip the reeds every one to two weeks. This helps refresh the fragrance and ensures the reeds stay saturated and effective. (A quick flip is all it takes to breathe new life into your diffuser.)

Location, Location, Location
Place your diffuser in a high-traffic area with good airflow for the best scent throw. Avoid direct sunlight, heat, and open windows to prevent the oil from evaporating too quickly.
